Position: OR Registered Nurse
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Schedule: Days Shifts available: 11:00am-7:30pm, 09:00am-5:30pm, 07:00am-3:30pm
Duration: This is a 13 week contract
Pay: $2278 - $2680 weekly gross

Responsibilities:

• This unit is looking for the following clinical qualifications:

1. Circulate and Scrub role.

2. Cardiac case (CABG, Mitral Valve)

3. Orthopedic (Total Joints, Total Shoulder, Hemi-arthroplasty/fracture, ACL Repair, Arthroscopy, ORIF/ Fracture)

4. Ophthalmology (Cataracts, Vitrectomy, Trabeculectomy)

5. General Surgery (Hernia, Exploratory Laparotomy, Whipple, Thoracic, Breast Mastectomy)

6. Urology services (TURBT, TURP, Orchiectomy, Open Nephrectomy, Vasovasostomy)

7. Robotic Surgery (General and Urology cases)

8. GYN cases (TAH, BSO, Laparoscopy, D&C, Ablations)

9. Neuro specialty expertise as well as laminectomy, fusion, ACDF, craniotomy

Qualifications:

• United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
• English Language Proficiency. In accordance with 38 U.S.C. 7402(d), no person shall serve in direct patient care positions unless they are proficient in basic written and spoken English.
• Graduate of a school of professional nursing OR In cases of graduates of foreign schools of professional nursing, possession of a current, full, active and unrestricted registration will meet the requirement for graduation from an approved school of professional nursing.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in a State, Territory or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico) of the United States, or the District of Columbia.
• Certifications: Current BLS, ACLS
