Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role (2nd shift) as a Quality Control Chemist at Gemini Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in Commack, NY. The Quality Control Chemist will be responsible for performing routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process, finished products, and stability samples. Additionally, the Quality Control Chemist will evaluate laboratory data, conduct laboratory investigations, maintain laboratory equipment, and participate in calibration of laboratory equipment. Under the direction of the QC Manager, you will perform routine testing of samples according to our in-house procedures or published compendia. Conduct analysis using instruments such as, but not limited to, UV/Vis, FTIR, HPLC, and ICP-MS.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: Able and willing to work from Monday-Friday (for 2nd shift)
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Chemistry or related field
• Computer knowledge with Microsoft Office
• Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication and organizational skills
• Must be able to read and understand analytical procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Must be detail-oriented and have practical time management skills
