What You’ll Do:

We are currently seeking an MVD Specialist to join Nusenda Credit Union. As an MVD Specialist at Nusenda, you will be responsible for lien perfection on all collateralized credit union auto loans. You will perform audit review of motor vehicle documentation and works with MVD to complete transactions, identify and resolve errors, and maintain pending logs for outstanding titles. You will provide support to Service Delivery staff and member’s with MVD related questions, requests, issues, and additional guidance. This position is one part internal member service and one part research. As an MVD Specialist at Nusenda:

• You will process MVD titles and lien perfections for Indirect and Consumer auto loans. Follow up and collects required documents for outstanding/pending titles both in-state and out-of-state, paper and electronically to ensure lien is perfected to safeguard credit union’s interest in collateral.
• You will conduct monthly MVD audits on pending titles for proper follow-up and to comply with regulatory required timeframes. Contact outside vendors and dealerships in effort to collect documentation necessary to perfect our lien and complete file. Maintain current on out-of-state regulations to collect proper documentation for adding our lien and to help expedite transactions.
• You will provide support to Service Delivery staff and member’s with MVD related questions, requests, issues, and additional guidance. Administer temp tags and works with MVD Now to coordinate document pickup and delivery. Provide common error information to the Training department procedural gaps and for additional training opportunities.
• You will work with Indirect department to resolve pending title and lien perfection issues. Maintain working knowledge of regulatory MVD requirements pertaining to forms, policies, and procedures.

What You'll Need:

• One to three years of similar or related MVD or title experience.
• Equivalent to a high school education
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers appropriately via in person, email etc.
• Experience in multi-tasking, meeting strict deadlines, dealing with sensitive information, and problem resolution while providing exceptional service.
• Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and all internal systems affiliated with the department.
