Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)- Correctional Facilites 

For Maricopa County 

NurseCore is an industry leader in Medical Staffing. We are currently looking for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for assignments in correctional facilities in Maricopa County. Qualified caregivers must possess critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

**Must have experience working in a correctional facility or willing to work in Correctional Facility**

You will be caring for ill, injured or convalescing patients or persons with disabilities in a correctional facility. You will be responsible for providing quality healthcare to each patient in adherence with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies.

Pay Rate -$25-$28/HR

Responsibilities:

• Assesses, plans, and implements client care as directed by facility and NurseCore standards
• Maintains competency through continuing education
• Administers and records medications given
• Carries out prescribed treatments
• Admits and discharges patients as directed
• Respect patients’ rights and maintain confidentiality
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:­

• Current RN licensure with the State Board of Nursing in the State of Arizona
• 1-year experience as a Registered Nurse in the last 3 years in a supervised setting
• Current CPR in compliance with the American Heart Association standards
• Negative TB/PPD or Chest X-Ray within the last 12 months
• Successful completion of the skills assessment
•  Night Shift Only 
• Must commit to at least 3x12 hour shifts weekly for a minimum of 13 weeks
• Respirator fit testing required 
• Immunization records
