NuCO2 is Hiring a Sr Financial Planning Analyst Near Stuart, FL

Specific Responsibilities will include the following:

Forecasting, Budgeting and Planning

  • Prepare, under the guidance of the FP&A Director, thorough Financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling, to provide actionable insights and recommendations to the management team.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of financial models and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial data and assumptions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic plans.
  • Assist with comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management, highlighting key findings, trends, and areas of improvement.
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of annual plan, monthly forecasts, and long-term strategic plans.
  • Analyze monthly and annual financial results, providing commentary on variances to forecast.
  • Identify and communicate risks and opportunities to management, offering proactive solutions and strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Support the monthly Financial close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Ensure accuracy of information loaded in ERP System (Hyperion)
  • Provide support in evaluating and analyzing investment opportunities, including financial due diligence, ROI analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Support and perform ad hoc analyses, projects, and implementation as requested and assigned by management.

General & Administrative(G&A) costs

  • Provides monthly reporting of G&A costs to budget owners across different departments.
  • Analyze actual costs to budget and understand variances and key drivers.
  • Meet with each budget owner to discuss variances, key drivers, and review/update forecast.
  • Works with accounting team to ensure costs are coded to proper account and budget and changes are explained to each budget owner.

Capital Expenditures (CAPEX)

  • Track monthly, capital expenditures actuals against plan/forecast.
  • Analyze actual costs to budget and understand variances and key drivers.
  • Review and propose update to forecast to ensure cost remains in line with expectations.
  • Work with Business Intelligence team to develop dashboard for CAPEX reporting and collaboratively work with department leadership to manage CAPEX spend.

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Financial Planning and Analysis experience, preferably in a corporate finance or a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with a proven ability to gather and interpret large complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial insights to non-financial stakeholders, including executive leadership.
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are essential.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet stringent deadlines.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.
  • Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to take direction well, work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and integrity in handling confidential and sensitive information and demonstrated ability to adapt easily to change.
