We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Systems Administrator, Junior for a Full-Time position.

Responsibilities and Required Skills:

Three or more years of experience in implementing and managing Active Directory; installing, supporting, and troubleshooting client operating systems including Windows 10; and performing operating system imaging processes.

  • Provide Tier II Level Support
  • Tier II-level software support is limited to installation, general support, and troubleshooting application operation on approved Government devices. It does not include detailed application-use support (feature support).
  • Provide occasional end-user training, including training in both formal and informal settings, e.g., brown-bag luncheon presentations on commonly asked questions, or informal one-on-one training with a customer over the phone or in person.
  • Image and wipe PCs using tools such as SCCM, PXE, and thumb drives
  • Build field office servers (basic Windows Server configuration)
  • Investigate and resolve problems using remote desktop tools such as Microsoft Remote Desktop and Bomgar
  • Encrypt and decrypt hard drives using McAfee encryption
  • Provide enterprise reporting, automation, and security implementations using Microsoft PowerShell
  • Document configurations and procedures for the benefit of Tier I Help Desk and end-users
  • Use group policy management, PowerShell, and other available Microsoft tools to perform a variety of activities in Microsoft Active Directory, including, but not limited to, unlocking accounts and resetting passwords, group management, implement/maintain system/user security settings, and implementing and modifying logon scripts
  • Provide reports for data calls in the required timeframe
  • Designs, develops, configures, and implements solutions to resolve technical and business issues related to enterprise Active Directory environment
  • Designs, develops, and implements solutions to successfully integrate new technology systems with the existing and new architectures
  • Ensure thorough system testing for functionality and compatibility of all proposed upgrades and solutions
  • Assist with IT equipment and planning for meetings and live stream (Vidyo and MS Teams)
  • Troubleshoot service disruptions and take ownership of the issue until it is resolved. Document the issue appropriately in the ticketing system and communicate to Government Team Lead.
  • Manage workload, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines, document time, and other duties.
  • Support ticket management using ECM Footprints
  • Respond to all requests for assistance and determine the appropriate actions to resolve problems within agreed-upon time frames in a timely and courteous manner
  • Ticket documentation and issue escalation practice
  • iOS mobile device management using MaaS360
  • Antivirus protection diagnosis and remediation using Symantec Endpoint Protection
  • Provide support for video-teleconferencing equipment
