Position Overview: NuCare Inc. is seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) to join our team. The QIDP plays a crucial role in ensuring that individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities receive the highest level of care and support while fostering their independence and personal growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Implementation Strategies (IS).
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine individuals' needs and outcomes
  • Monitor and document progress towards achieving established goals and outcomes.
  • Provide guidance and support to direct support professionals and caregivers.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements.
  • Advocate for individuals' rights and preferences.
  • Collaborate with community resources and agencies to enhance individuals' opportunities for integration and inclusion.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and reports.
  • Organizing BMC and HRC meetings
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field (Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, etc.).

  • Current certification as a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP)
  • Strong understanding of intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing the care of individuals with disabilities.
  • Compassionate and patient approach to caregiving.
  • Experience in program development and implementation is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
