Position Overview: NuCare Inc. is seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) to join our team. The QIDP plays a crucial role in ensuring that individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities receive the highest level of care and support while fostering their independence and personal growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop Implementation Strategies (IS).
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine individuals' needs and outcomes
- Monitor and document progress towards achieving established goals and outcomes.
- Provide guidance and support to direct support professionals and caregivers.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements.
- Advocate for individuals' rights and preferences.
- Collaborate with community resources and agencies to enhance individuals' opportunities for integration and inclusion.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and reports.
- Organizing BMC and HRC meetings
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, etc.).
- Current certification as a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP)
- Strong understanding of intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing the care of individuals with disabilities.
- Compassionate and patient approach to caregiving.
- Experience in program development and implementation is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
