NTN has an immediate opening at our Whitestown, Indiana Warehouse location for a Warehouse Operator 1.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking appropriate cases according to order and placing the orders on carts, loading and unloading pallets and individual cases to and from trailers.
- Operating a powered industrial truck safely, and loading trailers.
- Warehouse employee may also be responsible for receiving and distributing product and assisting in weekly inventory of product. Maintain good housekeeping in assigned area.
- Comply with all applicable safety, environmental, and PPE policies and procedures.
- Warehouse employee will also comply with any/ all other duties assigned by the leadership team.
Qualifications/Skills and Abilities
- The job requires extensive walking and standing on hard surfaces.
- High school diploma or GED a plus.
- Must have computer skills for e-mailing and communication, ability to use Microsoft Excel.
- Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures.
- Defines, implements and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of processes.
- Other duties as required and assigned. Must be able to lift 50lbs unassisted.
