Terms of Employment

• Contract, 3 Months (Possible Extension – No Guarantees)
• This position is hybrid. Candidates must be comfortable working onsite one or two days per week. Therefore, candidates must reside in a commutable distance to the Canton neighborhood of Baltimore.

Overview
Our client is looking for a Technical Lead to support a corporate-wide impacting project with a March 18th go-live. There is a large legacy, homegrown system that holds a database of Provider Network information (who they are, contact information, location information, credentials, etc.) that is being shifted to a Salesforce solution. At this time, Salesforce development and administration is sound, processes have been well defined by internal business partners, and Kafka connections are solidly in place. The Technical Lead will not be responsible for any hands-on development or administration work – but must bring strong knowledge of Salesforce integration – namely an understanding of data connectivity. The Technical Lead will be responsible for communication with Business Leaders about changes that need to be made – relaying this information to IT Leaders, overseeing and guiding the work of two (2) Product Owners, and leveraging technical skills to guide troubleshooting efforts when system and data connectivity issues arise – all in an effort to ensure that APIs and Kafka connectivity is successfully operational.
Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in the healthcare / health insurance industry – namely as it relates to HIPAA / Protected Health Information (PHI) data.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Salesforce integration – namely an understanding of data connectivity requirements.
• Experience reviewing system architecture and determining what steps need to be taken as it relates to Salesforce integration.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful and/or SOAP APIs.
• Strong experience in application and system troubleshooting.
• Skilled handling IT administrative work using Jira.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulately communicate as an intermediary between business and IT stakeholders.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience using Jira Align.
• Experience using Kafka to stream data between systems.
• SAFe certification.
