Nspire is Hiring a Cook Near Miami, FL

Looking for qualified Cooks to join our team!

We are searching for a Cooks to join our community that is resident and family focused, a team builder, and excited about the opportunity to assist in building a facility culture. The primary purpose of your job position is to provide assistance in all food functions as instructed and in accordance with established food policies and procedures.

Major Responsibilities

  • Work with the facility's Dietitian/Director of Dining Services as necessary and implement recommended changes as required.
  • Prepare meals for residents in our care.
  • Assist with meal preparation and checking trays for accuracy before serving.
  • Act in a compliance with federal and state sanitary regulations as well as facility infection control guidelines and dietary policies/procedures.
  • Provide innovative, responsible healthcare with the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts that continually improve systems and processes to achieve superior results.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED equivalent and have some experience with food preparation (preferred).
  • You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.
  • Have prior cook experience or knowledge of working and a kitchen setting.
  • Ability to cook larger meals for 120 residents 2 times a day.
