The Account Specialist (Automotive Customer Service) B Role

The ideal candidate for the role of Account Specialist will be energetic, positive, organized, and have proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. and This person will need to have the ability to work with proprietary systems and other CRM tools. In this role, the ability to work in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision is crucial but the willingness and desire to thrive as a key contributor to team endeavors is a must. Creating a productive and sustainable relationship with assigned customers and colleagues through traditional methods of contact such as verbal communication, email, online and/or face to face meetings is key!

Responsibilities

  • Customer communication, EDI & order processing, data entry & analysis, and forecasting.
  • Manage customer demand by analyzing, communicating, and taking appropriate action(s).
  • Manage customer accounts by maintaining orders and forecast, working with various departments to meet customer requirements and meeting with customer and NSK account managers.
  • Receive and follow through on requests for quote opportunities, customer product requirement/availability, lead time and pricing.
  • Support customer account functions such as receivables, maintain communication with customer, process necessary adjustments, maintain recordkeeping.
  • Participate within a team environment by providing support to accomplish continuous improvement and customer satisfaction to guarantee positive results for our company and customers.
  • Supports research and specialized reports related to shipment performance, quality, premium freight, customer trends, customer ratings, and corrective actions.
  • Prepares supply chain reports used for analyzing production, sales and inventory that will be used to report to management.
  • Attending assigned meetings for short- and long-term objective planning sessions.
  • Participation in improvement processes and provide support when needed.
  • Management of pricing administration for return authorizations, credits/debits for internal processes to customers done through a platform system.

Qualifications

  • This job requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 0 to 2 years of position-related experience.
  • This is a hybrid role which requires work in office at minimum of 2-3 days per week located in Ann Arbor, MI. Work remotely on other days.
