This ENTRY LEVEL position is responsible for inspecting, stacking and moving finished product from packing tables, bags the product and then places the bag on the conveyor system for removal.

Responsibilities/Duties: Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the job.

• Performs work in a safe manner to assure protection of self and others.
• Becomes familiar with department safety equipment, rules and their necessity.
• Inspects and manually removes all trays from the packing table in the prescribed manner.
• Is knowledgeable of tray quality and discards sub-quality trays.
• Informs the Operator, Line Lead, Tech, or Supervisor of any noticeable changes in quality.
• Maintains an accurate count of bags packed.
• Maintains an accurate tray count per bag.
• Maintains a clean work area in Thermoforming and the Pack Off area.
• Follows Packer rotation schedule and provide break relief as needed.
• Tape bags properly and tuck in flaps before stacking.
• Check bags/boxes for tracer identification.
• Manually removes bags of trays from conveyor belt in prescribed manner.
• Stack bags in neat, orderly manner, according to tray size and color of product using proper lifting/stacking technique.
• Segregate recyclables in proper containers and notify the Supervisor or Tech when the containers are full. 
• Collect trash and dispose of properly by the end of the shift
• Conducts food safety and defense self-inspections and reports on deficiencies.
• Performs other duties as directed by the Supervisor*.

Shift Schedules: Training is conducted on 1st shift: 7:00am- 3:00pm, Monday - Friday, for 2-3 weeks. Once training is completed you will move to 3rd shift 11:00pm-7:00am, Sunday through Thursday.
