Job Summary

NowMedia is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual whose talents lie at the intersection of creativity, strategy, and innovation. The Director of Integrated Marketing will be leading day to day of campaign development for the NowMedia Network suite of brands. Reporting to the Head of Brand & Creative development, the ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record of running day to day operations of an Integrated Marketing group and delivering big for our brands while ensuring a productive and positive workplace.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, exceptional creativity, excellence in cross functional collaboration, a can-do solutions oriented attitude and a deep understanding of digital media trends and technologies. The ideal candidate thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, enjoys the fast speed and the opportunity to contribute in meaningful ways by embracing change and offering new solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the pre-sales efforts - with a particular focus on partnering with the sales and editorial teams on RFPs for brand partners.
  • Lead the ideation of multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns for our brand partners, including social media, influencer partnerships, newsletter, events, and more.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive integrated marketing strategies to NowMedia content, products, and brand across various digital platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including content creators, sales, editorial, and product development to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to drive revenue through brand partnerships.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize marketing efforts, measure campaign performance, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work across the department to foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors to support marketing initiatives and partnerships.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Develop ongoing market and competitive analysis.
  • Support on proactive initiatives and marketing materials that support revenue effort and brand development.

Qualifications:
  • 7 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on digital media, content marketing, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful integrated marketing campaigns that support partner goals, honor audiences and brand.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring a team of marketing professionals as a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
  • Deep understanding of digital media trends, platforms, and technologies.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to leverage data insights to inform marketing strategies and decision-making.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and innovative marketing approaches.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience working in the digital publishing or related media companies is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree with experience being the most important marker of your abilities.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • $120,000-$160,000 total compensation including 10-20% bonus based on revenue goals with exact salary depending on experience and new staff rarely starting at the top of the range
  • Health care after 3 months, with individual premiums fully covered and cost-share for dependents. Vision and dental plans are available at-cost to the individual
  • 15 paid vacation days, 6 paid holidays, 3 paid floating holidays each year and 7.5 paid sick days each year
  • Professional development funds, with renewal of funds each fiscal year
  • Cell phone and internet reimbursement (or co-working reimbursement): We acknowledge that working from home requires using your own internet and phone for work purposes so we offer a set reimbursement amount for cell phone and internet usage. If working from home isn’t for you, we also have the option for folks to rent a co-working space and get reimbursed for their monthly costs.
  • Need-based educational loan assistance after 3 months
  • 401(k) plan after one year, with 100% employer match on the first 3% and 50% employer match on the next 2%
