Job Overview:
As the General Counsel Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in the firm, guiding our clients and our team through complex legal terrain. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring compliance, risk management, and policy development in the evolving landscape of employment and labor law.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of employment and labor law issues.
2. Review, draft, and negotiate employment contracts to ensure compliance and protection of client interests.
3. Assist with HR consulting, providing insights into best practices, legal regulations, and risk mitigation.
4. Oversee and manage policy development, ensuring compliance with current laws and regulations.
5. Advise on all forms of workplace discrimination, including but not limited to sexual, racial, and other protected classes.
6. Maintain current knowledge of changes and developments in employment law.
7. Provide training and workshops to clients and in-house teams as needed.
8. Work closely with the broader Catalyst Legal Services team to ensure cohesive and comprehensive client service.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. Bar admission in Utah or ability to obtain admission promptly.
3. Extensive experience in employment and labor law, especially in the areas of employment contracts, HR consulting, and policy management.
4. Proven knowledge in all forms of workplace discrimination, including sexual, racial, and other protected classes.
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and provide top-notch client service.
7. Must be able to work on-site in Salt Lake City, Utah.
