We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our Consulting team. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating accurate financial reporting and analysis for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of accounting principles, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Earn between $65K to 75K, depending on experience.
• Hybrid work schedule, depending on experience!

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular financial analysis and provide insights on financial performance to clients.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, including preparation of journal entries and the reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and related schedules in compliance with accounting standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial controls and policies.
- Maintain and update financial records and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Prepare and present financial reports to management and clients.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement necessary changes to streamline financial operations.
- Stay up to date with changes in accounting regulations and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of tax principles and experience with preparing tax returns is a plus.
