NovoCure is Hiring an Associate Director, Strategic Skills and Learning, US Thoracic Business Unit - Now Hiring Near Indianapolis, IN

Description:

Associate Director, Strategic Skills and Learning Thoracic is an education, training and development leader for the US Thoracic Business Unit. This individual is responsible for designing, implementing, and measuring the impact of learning strategies and programs for US-field based commercial HCP-facing teams. The primary focus of the learning & development team is to ensure the growth and development of our people through clinical competence and skill-based learning along with leadership development.

This is a full time; exempt position located REMOTELY and reports to the Sr. Director, Marketing for the US Thoracic Business Unit.

Position will require travel up to 50% and the ability to work remotely or outside of regular business hours, as needed. Normal working days/business hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. For payroll purposes, the workweek is defined as Sunday-Saturday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish a culture and framework for learning and development
  • Ensure strong communication and partnership with the sales leadership, marketing, medical team, cross-functional partners and subject matter experts to identify team and individual learning needs
  • Gain alignment through collaboration on new and existing learning initiatives
  • Utilize internal and external resources to develop, administer, and optimize learning experiences and programs from onboarding through individual's growth within role
  • Conduct field visits, classroom facilitation, and participate in off-site meetings
  • Champion consistency and quality of learning materials, learning delivery, and learning sustainability across functions
  • Employ varied methods of learning delivery to accommodate multiple learning styles & information needs
Qualifications:
  • 10 years' experience in pharmaceutical, DME sales or medical device
    • Experience can be across a combination of sales, sales leadership, sales training, clinical education, learning & development, or relevant management
  • 2 years in oncology, specifically lung cancer experience is required
  • Experience launching a new device, drug, treatement etc. to market is a must
  • Experience creating a training platform from scratch for a new product for a sales team is required
  • Demonstrates passion for helping people learn and grow
  • Successful track record as demonstrated by role of increasing responsibility
  • Proven sales or field-based experience
  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in relevant area preferred

    • Expert knowledge of sales leadership goals and the ability to coach sales team members
