Position: Steel Detailer
Location: Kansas City, KS (Hybrid/Remote working)
Compensation: $60,000 - $100,000 (with company bonus)

The Position:

The Client:
Our client is a family-owned company and is currently on the lookout for a detailer to join their growing department in the steelwork sector.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure the accuracy and quality of steelwork drawings and detailing, reviewing drawings for compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
* Lead and manage a detailing division, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain high productivity and accuracy.
* Utilize SDS/2 / Tekla to create, edit, and review steelwork drawings.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and fabricators to understand project requirements and deliver detailed drawings on time.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field preferred.
* Proficiency in detailing software and tools (e.g., SDS/2, Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, Bluebeam).
* Significant experience in steelwork detailing with a focus on quality control and departmental leadership.
* Attention to detail and an understanding of steelwork industry standards.
