GPAC is partnered with a well-established steel fabricating and erecting company. They are searching for a Structural Steel Detailer. Our client company manufactures and installs structural steel for the commercial construction industry. Due to continued growth our client company needs to hire a motivated talented Structural Steel Detailer.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Projects will be small remodel work, Misc. Metals, Stairs, Handrails, small Structural.
- Generating a bill of materials for shop drawings
- Coordinate drawings from design to release for fabrication
- Working with project engineers to clarify approval drawings
- Review RFI's
- BIM modeling
- Background in steel construction is ideal
Software Qualifications
- SDS2
