JOB SUMMARY:

Maintains material flow from storage to finished product and assists the department as needed.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Performs material changes as necessary.

Cleans grinders prior to the placement of new material.

Dumps grinders and mixes the proper percentage of regrind with virgin material.

Sweeps work area and removes trash as necessary.

Verifies moisture checks and stock lot numbers.

Mix material per Material Matrix.

Vacuums work area after cleaning hopper and grinder.

Maintains FIFO on all materials, colorants and components.

Operates motorized material handling equipment and/or crane as necessary.

Assists supervisor as required.

Operates forklift.

Follows all IATF-16949/ISO 14001 and Company policies and procedures.

Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Must be able to meet/set deadlines.

Must be able to perform basic arithmetic functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Strong organizational skills

Effective time management and planning skills.

Three months’ or more of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Operate Lift Truck (including daily lift truck inspections)

Battery Changing & Charging / Maintenance

Lock Out/Tag Out

Material Vacuum System (alarms, etc.)

Moisture Checks

Must be able to meet lifting requirements up to 100 pounds
