- Knows all PPE & Safety requirements for the area.
- Acquire lift truck certification.
- Turn shear machine and gantry on and off.
- Reset robot and shear machine.
- Adjust sensor on gantry for correct cut length.
- Place pallets under robot for stacking.
- Keep track of scrap slabs.
- Remove trim from gantry and store it properly.
- Keep accurate count of robot stacking count.
- Keep up with finished pallets.
- Administer routine quality checks.
- Properly enter all quality information in the computer.
- Properly check the embossing depth.
- Report quality issues to operator, lead, or supervisor.
- Make pallet labels.
- Properly use the Zebra handheld mobile device to create license plates.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to cross train and perform additional duties as needed.
- Must be legally authorized to work in US without a sponsorship now or in the future.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Experience in LVT/LVP industry preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Occasionally lifts and / or carries up to 75 pounds.
- Maneuvers in, around, under and about manufacturing equipment on a regular and continuous basis.
- Some of work time is spent standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
- Works within a manufacturing setting and may be exposed to heat, cold and fumes/chemicals.
