Nova Home Care is seeking a dedicated Receptionist/Intake Specialist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our clients and employees, this role is critical to the success of our home care services. The Receptionist/Intake Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of client and caregiver intake, including initial assessments, scheduling, and ongoing communication. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and possess exceptional communication and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct initial intake interviews with new clients and their families to determine their needs and eligibility for our services

Enter all relevant information into our database and ensure that it is accurate and up-to-date

Review the schedule for the day and make any necessary changes or updates to ensure that all clients receive the care they need

Follow up with any missed calls or messages and update the schedule accordingly

Check in with caregivers to ensure that they have everything they need to provide quality care

Process new caregiver applications and schedule phone screens or interviews as needed

Review any outstanding issues or concerns and follow up with clients and caregivers as needed

Assist with caregiver onboarding, including conducting background checks and coordinating training sessions

Ensure that all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed and up-to-date

Provide exceptional customer service to all clients and caregivers, demonstrating empathy, compassion, and professionalism in all interactions

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management systems

Prior experience in a healthcare or customer service setting preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $38,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
