Junior Software Developer

Job Description:

This position will work to create and maintain internal applications to streamline and organize data for Executive Management and Operations Dashboards / Reports for key business decision making. This is a critical role for the company’s continued growth curve.

Responsibilities:

· Maintain and update existing software applications and tools critical to business operations by writing clean and maintainable code.

· Develop new applications and tools as necessary to support other department’s needs.

· Work as a team throughout the development lifecycle, from planning through maintenance.

· Provide technical support to outside departments; answer questions and collect user feedback to improve applications.

· Communicate with both the development team and users; provide updates on development progress and new features.

· Write clear and descriptive documentation for applications and tools.

Skills and Abilities:

· JavaScript/TypeScript

· Python

· NodeJS

· Relational Databases (SQL)

· HTML/CSS

· Frontend JavaScript Framework (React/Angular/Vue/etc.)

· Git

Preferred Education and Certification:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related degree

Minimum Experience:

· 0-1 year of similar experience

Preferred Experience:

· Experience building and maintaining full stack web applications

· CI/CD

• GitHub Actions, Google Cloud Build/Run

· Google Cloud Platform

· Microsoft Azure

· Oracle NetSuite

· Docker

· PostgreSQL

· Fastify
