About the Role
The Investment Analyst will be instrumental in developing and managing the financial models for our renewable energy projects, as well as monitoring market trends to help support key financial decisions.
  • Develop a strong understanding of development, construction, and operational inputs to the model
  • Run kickoff meetings with internal SME’s to gather project inputs to build out the assumption book
  • Create a financial model for each project from the start of the development process through the financial close. Including building the initial base case and stress testing throughout the development process
  • Model various financial structures, including tax equity and debt, across multiple different regions and markets.
  • Present recommendations to leadership and internal stakeholders, including identifying project economic or financial risks, advise on investment structures and expected investment returns
  • Explain project economics and risks in review committees, and prepare the financial analysis required for the Investment Committee
  • Macroeconomic analysis, including interest rate trends, treasury trading, impacts of tax law change, and broader market trends. Provide a succinct quarterly summary to the team to support investment decisions.
  • Monitor and document activity in the power markets, M&A transactions, and financing to identify trends and ensure accurate valuations
About You
  • You are a recent grad with strong analytic skills and a high level of intellectual curiosity. You can thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, constantly collaborating with various internal and external teams.
  • Undergraduate degree in finance, engineering, or economics. A graduate degree is a plus
  • Prior experience building or working on financial models
  • Superior Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work independently
