Nova Biomedical is hiring an Organic Sensor Assembler II on our First Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) in our Waltham, MA facility. The Organic Sensor Assembler II is responsible for the processing of various organic-based biosensors for both core and OEM analyzers. Under general supervision, this person will perform routine and complex assembly operations as well as produce prototypes/pilots for engineering as required. Must have the ability to work independently and efficiently. It is required to manufacturing only the highest quality assemblies while meeting manufacturing schedules. Other responsibilities include:

• Ability to work with various epoxies, solvent, and chemicals as required during assembly
• Requires a high level of attention to detail through all aspects of the assembly process to produce high product yields
• Must have the ability to operate process equipment such as auto testers, automatic dispensing equipment, ultrasonic welders, laser coders, auto polishers, and soldering irons
• Ability to understand assembly procedures, drawings, verbal instructions and related documentation to assemble various product

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

• Good math and communication skills
• Basic knowledge of GMP
• Organic Sensor Assembler I qualifications

Education/Experience:

• High School/Trade School diploma
• 2-5 years of experience
