• Primary point of contact for all shipping at the Giddings, TX location
• Attain shipping goals as specified by Plant Manager
• Create and review shipping documentation for accuracy and communicate as needed with FGS Plants and customer jobsites.
• Knowledge of shipments created with UPS, Fed Ex, LTL Carriers, Hot Shot carriers, etc.
• Create and maintain accurate shipping schedule in an organized manner.
• Communicate with customer to ensure correct delivery address and unloading instructions 
• Review freight invoices related deliveries for correct pricing.
• Request quotations shipments to ensure within budget and profitability. 
• Obtain oversize and overweight permits for drivers when necessary.
• Determine truck load requirements for delivery.
• Motivate employees to give maximum efforts in professional manner
• Ensure that all safety procedures are being followed
• Maintain weekly employee attendance records
• Knowledge of HAZMAT shipment requirements.
• Supervise loading crew.
• Closely monitor transportation issues related to delivery of goods to ultimate consignees 
• Hold departmental meetings as needed to discuss updates and/or changes in company policies, procedures, goals, etc.
• Wear appropriate PPE 
• Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures
• Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
• Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures
