NOV is Hiring a Material Handler Near Oklahoma, OK
- Helps maintain a safe working environment through good housekeeping and adherence to all environmental health and safety policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Submits reports on work activities and work related incidents when required.
- Completes an accurate count of product as it is received. Completes a visual inspection noting any damage to material and reports problems and/or concerns to responsible level(s) of management.
- Marks incoming product with a receiving ticket number.
- Completes a daily visual inspection of yard machinery, and reports problems and/or concerns to responsible level(s) of management.
- Assist in inventoried items, to include review of material test reports, marking/stamping material when received, and monthly physical counts.
- Operate/maintain saw area; saw cut iron per work order instructions with proper documentation on cut sheets.
- Operate/maintain phosphate station while adhering to company SOP and work instructions.
- May be required to operate company vehicles to safely transport product to staging areas located throughout the yard.
- Recommends and implements pre-approved measures to improve equipment performance and work methods.
- Supports and actively participates in all Safety and Quality Management activities for this job classification.
- Seeks technical/supervisor expertise to resolve quality related issues.
Work shifts as prescribed by Management, with overtime as needed.
