JOB DESCRIPTION
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identifies and transports goods and materials to work centers specified on preprinted routing documents and as directed by management personnel.
- Loads and unloads storage racks as required to support production requirements.
- Loads and unloads trucks of raw materials and finished products.
- Operates cranes, hoists, dollies and powered hi-lifts in a safe and responsible manner.
- Consistently works in a manner to maintain quality of workmanship and product
- Work with RF Smart scanners, interacting with JDE MRP system.
- Pick and pack job orders, prepare for shipment.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Legible handwriting and accuracy.
- Ability to receive and carry out verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Prior experience material handling in a manufacturing / warehouse environment.
- Can operate a forklift and hoist .
- Capable of standing for most of shift and lifting up to 20 lbs frequently.
