Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Summary:

The Warehouse Lead will work with the Warehouse Manager in the processing of basic order and inventory fulfillment activities including cycle counting, shipping, receiving & material handling to and from bin locations, assigning and movement of inventory into bins, light assembly & other related activities. The Lead will also be responsible for working with the Manager in the coordination of other warehouse activities and personnel including maintenance schedules, returns & staging activities for other divisions within the United For Growth family of companies, when needed. In addition, the Warehouse Lead will assist in related supply chain duties including working with the purchasing, sales and marketing departments to promote brands.

Responsibilities:

· Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

· Control expenses to meet budget guidelines & assist in maintaining warehouse records (i.e., packing slips).

· Back up “point of contact” for the warehouse throughout the organization.

· Inventory control.

· Light fabrication and assembly.

· Internal customer service.

· Load and unload vehicles.

· Receiving and put-away of inventory.

· Picking, packing, and shipping products.

· Assist in general warehouse maintenance for tow motor, garage doors & other related machinery.

· Maintain accurate inventory of packaging materials.

· Clean up work area, sweep floors, clean benches, put tools and supplies away, knock down cardboard for disposal, collect rubbish in the office area a minimum of once weekly and dispose.

· Operate the freight carrier’s manifesting hardware accurately to ship packages.

· Update or change stock locations and movement.

· Process requisitions for supplies and/or materials for the department.

· Update inventory movement records.

· Use safety equipment and lift truck whenever applicable, re: lifting belt, steel toe shoes, safety glasses, ear protection. Upon initial instruction, candidate will be expected to adhere to the use of safety equipment on their own.

· Assemble finished goods with use of electric/air powered equipment. Assemble orders in cartons checking for correctness of each order prior to closing and labeling.

· Occasionally use the company’s box truck to make local deliveries or pickups.

Qualifications:

· High School diploma, GED or related experience.

· Ability to pass a physical exam and obtain a Medical Exam Certificate.

· Experience in shipping, receiving, forklift operation, inventory control (cycle counts, physical inventory) computer skills, customer service moderate math skills or other related fields.

· Ability to handle physical workload, lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly.

· Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
