Working under moderate supervision, utilizes the nursing process and professional standards of practice to provide for the immediate and short-term nursing care needs and goals while planning for long-term nursing care needs and goals of patients in compliance with the Indiana Nurse Practice Act, regulatory requirements, HIPAA, and KDH organizational, infection, control, and nursing values, policies, and procedures. Delivers care to patients in age groups as defined by areas of practice: 3 Medical/Pediatrics – pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric with occasional neonate; 4 Medical/Surgical – adult & geriatric, Mother/Baby – predominately neonate adolescent and adult with occasional geriatric; ICU – adult and geriatric with occasional adolescent.
New RN: graduate of a nationally accredited nursing ASN or BSN program, BSN preferred. Possesses and maintains Indiana RN licensure.
Experienced RN: possesses and maintain Indiana RN licensure with BSN preferred
