Landscape Laborer Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Landscape Laborer who will be responsible for providing a wide range of landscaping services, including lawn maintenance, planting, pruning, and other landscaping tasks. The successful candidate must have a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Landscape Laborer Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow written and verbal instructions from the employer
- Mow, edge, and trim turf areas, using powered and hand tools. Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges
- Plant, cultivate, and maintain vegetation such as flowers, trees, shrubs, and hedges
- Dig, spread, and level soil using shovels, rakes, and other hand tools
- Water and fertilize lawns and plants
- Clear debris and remove waste from landscaping areas
- Uphold landscaping design and ensure plant growth
- Install landscape edging and borders
- Operate and maintain irrigation systems
- Perform routine maintenance on landscaping equipment
- Apply pesticides to remove harmful insects
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in landscaping
- Knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment
- Strong knowledge of pest management and basic lawn maintenance
- Able to work in various weather conditions
- Good stamina and physical health, able to lift heavy objects
- Good communication skills
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record
- Agree to a background investigation
- Pass a hair follicle drug test
