Are you an accomplished communicator with strong verbal and written skills with prior sales and/or business experience? Do you have the drive to make an impact, connect, and build a business? Are you currently located within commuting distance of Ormond Beach, Gainesville, Ocala, or St. Augustine, FL? As business owners, Financial Representatives at Northwestern Mutual help their clients live more and worry less through our personalized approach to financial planning. No financial experience is required and prior financial services exposure is not needed. We will train, coach, mentor, and develop the right candidate in our and give access to award-winning training, technology, planning tools, and supportive mentors to help you deliver expert advice to your clients. With additional access to nationwide mentors and leaders, we will surround you with resources to help you gain financial expertise, including but not limited to:

We want people with different backgrounds and work experience, including but not limited to: management, sales, insurance, executive leadership, community influencers, former athletes, educators, military background, or financial services. Prior sales and/or business experience preferred, BA or BS degree from a four-year institution OR 4 years military preferred - however, considerations will be made for backgrounds without. Candidate must be an accomplished communicator with strong verbal and written skills. Candidates must also possess a history of personal and professional success.

As a Financial Representative, you have the opportunity to:

  • Build—You will spend your days acquiring clientele by growing relationships with your network, and delivering financial solutions with help from our industry-leading training, mentors, and products. With this help, you will develop knowledge of Northwestern Mutual financial products and market trends.
  • Educate—Educate yourself beyond training through sponsored licensing and registration as well as ongoing development. Use proprietary technology, reporting tools, and illustrations to educate clients on potential plans.
  • Influence— Present clients with the opportunity to protect and prosper, then drive clients to action through expert perspective, influence, and recommendations.
  • Own—Take ownership of development and management of the business as you master your craft and build a team. Review and maintain client financial plans, continuing to provide optimal advice for your clients’ needs.
