The Contract, License & Registration (CLR) Coordinator assists the Network Office in performing all CLR duties. The CLR Coordinator directs and administers contracting, licensing, and registration requirements & processes for financial representatives, college financial representatives, associate financial representatives, and field staff. The CLR Coordinator maintains strict confidences and holds all information confidential, communicating sensitive matters to the Chief Operating Officer, Managing Director/Partner, and Chief Supervision Officer. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities
Contract, License & Registration

• Using Home Office systems to administer, input, track, and follow-up on requirements and appropriate paperwork for contracting, licensing or registration of personnel. This includes new personnel, changes to existing personnel or termination of personnel, with a specific focus on College Financial Representative onboarding.
• Provides information on the technical requirements of the contracting, licensing, and registration process to appropriate personnel.
• Act as liaison between the Network Office and Home Office throughout the entire contracting, licensing, and registration processes.
• Act as liaison between the Network Office and background investigation company for requesting and follow up of inspection reports. Flag findings to the Managing Partner and/or Director of Network Office Supervision for determining appropriate action.
• Act as liaison between the Network Office and the Insurance Departments for scheduling exams.
• Host Welcome/Onboarding call with all new College Financial Representative candidates.
• Schedule and track licensing or registration education or exam requirements, to include continuing education, for industry or Home Office courses. Provide successful course completion information to the Home Office or outside vendors.
• As appropriate, facilitate and track requirements of non-resident licensing requirements, including Blue-Sky licensing in non-resident states.
• Track Associated Persons in appropriate systems to identify new personnel, changes in existing personnel and terminations

Other Support

• Serve as a back-up to our receptionist and cover breaks/PTO when needed.
• Serve as a back-up to mail handling/check processing.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in technical knowledge of the contract, license, and registration process within a highly regulated industry.
• Ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality.
• General insurance and investment experienced preferred.
• Knowledge of licensing and registration laws in the insurance and investment industry.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with ability to develop and maintain rapport with professionals at all levels. High degree of follow-up necessary.
• Proven customer service experience within a high stress environment.
• Proven ability to independently set schedules and handle multiple priority assignments within strict deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and judgement skills with ability to interpret and work within guidelines while adhering to regulatory requirements.
• Ability to use high degree of diplomacy in handling difficult situations.
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies.
