Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a strong background in medical/surgical nursing.
Duties:
- Provide direct patient care in a medical/surgical setting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
- Assist with procedures such as IV insertions and wound care
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and post-hospital care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Previous experience in medical/surgical nursing preferred
- Proficiency in medication administration, IV insertion, and ventilator management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification required.
