Northwest Montana History Museum is Hiring a Deputy Director Near Kalispell, MT

Deputy DirectorThe Northwest Montana History Museum seeks a deputy director to learn all aspects of its nonprofit operations as part of an energetic, purpose-driven team to preserve and present regional history. Duties include providing visitor services, working with 70-plus volunteers, designing exhibits and programming, and facility management and monitoring.Qualifications: BA or MA degree Competent in office systems and software. Familiarity with Flathead Valley or curiosity to learn. Experience working with the public and a variety of people. Opportunities for personal and professional growth include public speaking, marketing, website management, analytics, events, membership management, strategic planning, problem solving, facility operations, research, and writing. No day is the same at the Northwest Montana History Museum. This opening is a rare chance to learn all aspects of museum management on your feet and to hit the ground running. As visitation increases, the museum looks to keep pace with Kalispell and increase understanding of this unique region through its history, environment, and people.
