Northwest Medical is Hiring a Service Center Supervisor - DME - HME Near Medford, OR

About You ---

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years related experience in an office environment
  • 1 year related customer service experience
  • 1 year related experience with warehouse management
  • Medicare and third-party reimbursement requirement experience preferred
  • Prior Leadership experience with a proven track record
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills; interpersonal and leadership skills

Responsibilities & Duties:

A Service Center Supervisor assists with coordination branch/department operations, performs the day-to-day functions of their team members, and may participate in their team members’ employment cycle. A Service Center Supervisor has administrative and operational duties to their branch(es). On-the-job training provided.

  • Liaises with patients, referral sources, and other team members to coordinate patient care
  • Maintains strong working knowledge of, and aids team members in a variety of areas including, insurance coverage criteria and products and services offered by the organization
  • Attends in-services and meetings; assists with meeting management
  • Resolves customer complaints, reports necessary complaints to leadership
  • Enforces team adherence to company policies and procedures. Ensures team members are familiar with infection control, environment safety, emergency protocols, etc.
  • Motivates team members to achieve individual and group goals
  • Participates in team member evaluations, career pathing and development, disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and terminations
  • Provides feedback to leaders to help improve business practices; assists in creating ways to deliver excellent customer service or create a better patient care environment
  • Interviews, hires, and onboards new team members. Oversees new and existing team member training.
  • Performs and oversees referral and customer service operations such as order intake, customer service, insurance verification, documentation verification, prior authorization, scheduling, equipment delivery, post-delivery tasks, payment collection, phones, and resupply as needed
  • Maintains all regulatory compliance data for accreditation and maintains compliance with all state and federal regulations
  • Oversees and participates in shipping and receiving duties including necessary documentation processing
  • Aids with warehouse equipment preparation. Maintains dirty and clean equipment areas.
  • Ensures inventory traceability and equipment manual availability (physical or electronic). Maintains warehouse logs and files.
