Northwest Maritime Center is Hiring a Dock Attendant (SEASONAL) Near Port Townsend, WA

Be the welcoming face for people arriving in Port Townsend guests at Point Hudson Marina and Boat Haven. As a Northwest Maritime Dock Attendant, you will provide outstanding, friendly customer service to port patrons and become a part of the Port of Port Townsend Team!
With an eye for detail, you will help maintain the marina's safety by doing daily dock walks and reporting any safety concerns. When a visitor comes into the marina, you will be there to catch their lines, and bring them safely into their slip before answering any questions they might have about local amenities - feel free to share your local knowledge of the best places to get coffee or dinner! This is an active job, and you’ll be outdoors performing hands-on duties! Enjoy the fresh air while providing hospitality to guests, including welcoming RV visitors and handing out Port of Port Townsend welcome bags.
Each day you will coordinate with the Port of Port Townsend customer service representatives (CSRs) via radio or another agreed-upon method of communication so they can ask questions and relay information. They will provide lists of the ins and outs each day for both the marina and the RV park. You may be asked to help with incidental (non-union) tasks.
