Dentrix Ascend Experience and proficiency
Multi-line phone system experience
Proficiency with Internet, and Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Insurance benefit and billing experience
Qualities we desire:
Excellent communication skills with patients and our office team
Ability to multi-task, problem solve effectively and self-manage
A professional appearance
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Greeting patients as they arrive to the practice
Managing a dental recall system
Ability to be flexible in a fast paced office
Data entry in electronic health record
Confirming and documenting patient's insurance plans and eligibility
Answering and transferring incoming phone calls
Making appointment confirmation calls
Work schedule is variant upon the practice, and subject to change, however a traditional week would be Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30 pm.
