The role of research Genetic Counselor (GC) within the Division of Medical Genetics and Human Genomics at Cohen Children’s Medical Center (CCMC) and Northwell Health is primarily to support and oversee the research activities of the Division. The individual filling this role should be able to perform all roles of a clinical GC (patient visits, intakes, family histories, return result counseling etc…) and contribute to the clinical mission of the Division, however the primary role will be in support of the various research programs and broader initiatives of the Division including (but not limited to): the broad scale Research Biobanking Initiative, research activities related to the Center for Children with Rare Diagnoses (CCRD),
