The Genetics Counselor- Board Certified obtains and analyzes family medical history to identify patients at risk for specific disorders or syndromes. Provides genetic counseling and education to individuals and families at risk for hereditary disorders. Being a Genetics Counselor- Board Certified may provide crisis intervention as needed.
