Northside Christian Academy is Hiring an Assistant Boys Basketball Coach Near Charlotte, NC
Northside Christian Academy athletics department is looking for experienced JV and/or Varsity Boys Basketball coach to lead our team. We are looking for strong candidates who have a vital walk with Christ and an ability to point young men to Christ through athletics. You need to have a background in playing the sport and some coaching experience. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to motivate our players and help them hone their skills. We prefer candidates with a degree in a sports medicine-related subject (not required), but your experience on the court is the most essential qualification for this coaching position. This position is seasonal and will begin as early as September 1 - March 1.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead practices to help players improve their performance.
- Strategize on player positions.
- Develop an on-field strategy.
- Make calls and substitutions during games.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience as a player and an assistant coach/head coach
- Leadership and communication skills
- Familiarity with fitness and exercise
