Position Overview:

Northside Charter High School is currently seeking qualified and enthusiastic English Teachers for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in English Language Arts, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and contributing to the overall academic success of our students.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging and rigorous English Language Arts lessons in alignment with the school's curriculum.

• Foster a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking skills among students.

• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students and create an inclusive learning environment.

• Implement various assessment strategies to measure student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance instructional practices.

• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, English Education, or a related field.

• State certification in Secondary English Education.

• Strong knowledge of English Language Arts content and a passion for teaching.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and students.

Experience:

• Previous teaching experience at the high school level is preferred but not required.

• Familiarity with diverse teaching methodologies and technology integration.
