Position Highlights:

• Position: Certified Nurse Midwife
• Location: Clinic at 225 Milwaukee Ave, Vernon Hills and deliveries at Highland Park Hospital.
• Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
• Hours: Clinic hours are Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Rotating weekends and 1-2 24-hour call per week required.
• Required Travel: Deerfield, Gurnee, and Mount Prospect

What you will need:

• License:Certified Nurse Midwife Licensure (CNM) in the State of IL required;FederalDEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License required
• Education:Completion of Master's level program in specialty area
• Certification:BLS/CPR certification required
• Experience:Prior CNM experience preferred

What you will do:

• Provide comprehensive health assessments, differential diagnosis, and prescribe treatments under the protocol in the direct management of acute and chronic illness and disease
• Promote wellness and prevent illness and injury in various settings for individuals, families, and communities
• Work autonomously and in interdisciplinary teams as resources and consultants
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
