A Mammography Radiology Technologist operates radiologic equipment and performs mammography procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. Records the outcomes of results and presents the results and patient history to the physician for his or her interpretation.

Job Qualifications:

• A degree or certification from an accredited college, university, vocational or technical school for performing diagnostic mammography imaging is required.
• The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certificate is preferred.
• Radiologic Technologist Specializing in Mammography RT(R)M is preferred. 
• A multi board certification in the above-mentioned specialties is preferred.
• A minimum of two years’ experience in diagnostic imaging is preferred.
• Valid CPR Certification is required. 
• Completes all certification processes and required Continuing Education in a timely manner.
