Pre-Service Clearance will work closely with all aspects of the operational functions of NorthShore to ensure proper patient registration, revenue cycle sustainment, and administration services.

The Pre-Service Clearance Specialist will actively identify, analyze, and resolve issues associated with the prior registration process.

Provide knowledge of insurance eligibility and guidelines to all staff to ensure proper claims handling as well as education for patients.

Act as a liaison between the clinical, revenue cycle, and patient services departments to prepare for patient’s visit and protect the integrity of the patient’s healthcare needs.

The Pre-Service Clearance Specialist will exhibit behaviors consistent with the standards for organizational values of NorthShore Health Centers.

Demonstrates actions consistent with NorthShore Health Centers expectations as duties are performed on a daily basis.
