Seeking a Business Development Account Executive to assist as the firm continues to expand their impressive roster of proxy solicitation and corporate governance consulting projects in the United States and other markets. This position will be based in Bloomfield, NJ.

On the business development side, this position will be responsible for providing the firm with maintaining face-to-face contact with clients and prospects and networking with other industry players to accelerate business development. Additionally, this position will be responsible for relationship management, including aiding client companies about their corporate governance practice inquiries, assisting with the proxy solicitation questions and interfacing with institutional proxy voting departments on a need be basis.

Requirements:

· Strong oral and written communication skills

· General knowledge of and interest in corporate governance best practices

· Understanding of Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS), Glass Lewis and institutional proxy voting policies, preferred.

· Knowledge of shareholder meeting process and the various entities involved in proxy voting

· Strong sense of project ownership

· Self-motivation with a strong ability to function independently

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced functions

Bilingual Skills a Plus

**Please note that this position is full time in the office, five days a week**

College degree preferred.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
