NorthPointe Hospitality - Task Force Manager
NorthPointe Hospitality Management is immediately recruiting for a Task Force Manager.
This is a field-based position with periodic status update meetings held at our corporate offices in Sugar Hill, GA.
The Task Force Manager will be an experienced professional with extensive expertise regarding Hilton, IHG and Marriott operations and brand standards. The Task Force Manager is expected to positively and substantially impact the hotels revenues, guest satisfaction scores, profitability, employee morale and quality assurance scores and work in the capacity as the General Manager running the day to day operations.
The Task Forces Manager will be deemed to be successful in his/her role by virtue of the following:
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with on site management and corporate personnel. Must be an exceptional influencer, negotiator and compromiser.
· Aggressive, strategic and well thought out planning that allows the operator to “pivot” quickly to exploit “in the moment” rate and inventory strategies, 24-7.
· Is a mentor and teacher of GM’s, DOS’s, FOM’s, Executive Housekeepers, Maintenance Engineers, F&B Culinary team and corporate personnel - works daily with these partners for shared successes.
· Certified as a General Manager with Hilton and IHG platforms.
· MUST have prior GM experience at full service upper and upper/upper hotel asset classes.
· Stays up to date regarding techniques and technology and has the ability to deploy cutting edge thoughts and ideas.
· Is flexible regarding work schedule and timelines – understands the hotel business is a business “that never sleeps”.
· Has a relentless desire to “WIN” by becoming a market leader in RevPar/Market Share by virtue of STAR data analytics, meeting or exceeding hotel budgets with creative and measurable selling techniques. Understands how to balance group and transient revenue management strategies.
· Understands RevPAR, TRevPAR, NRevPAR and GOPPAR measurements toward financial success.
· Has thorough understand of interpreting P&L’s and reacting accordingly regarding maximizing revenues, GOP and NOI.
· Uses data analytics for predictive booking patters (i.e., Pace Reports) and strategic rate and inventory management.
· Can forecast revenues, GOP and NOI.
· Has the ability to work with “high end” clients as an influencer regarding sales and catering contracts and commitments.
· Works closely with Corporate Controller and Accounting Manager to ensure account payables, payroll and account receivables are accurate and timely. Understands and executes internal audits controls throughout the hotel.
· Works closely with Social Media Manager to ensure seamless execution of packages, programs, promotions, etc.
· Assists with annual budgets regarding segmentation, rate and inventory strategies, special event pricing, etc.
· Works with Director of Capital and Refurbishment to ensure minimal impact of out of order rooms.
· Extensive ability to travel and ability to interact will all on-site hotel personnel. Resides “on property” for extended periods of time. Travel commitments by air or car will be 90% - 100% of the time.
