Location: Macon, Georgia

Salary Range: $18 to $26 per hour (Based on Experience)

Position Overview: As a Welder, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, contributing to the creation of top-quality products. Your responsibilities will include welding various metal components, adhering to safety guidelines, and maintaining the highest standards of workmanship. The ideal candidate will possess experience in a range of welding techniques and be capable of working independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding tasks using a variety of welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and ARC.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
• Precisely measure and cut metal components to specified dimensions using appropriate tools.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance.
• Inspect completed welds for quality and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Strictly adhere to safety protocols and wear required protective gear.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in welding or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a welder, supported by a strong portfolio showcasing previous welding projects.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and ARC.
• Familiarity with welding equipment and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and practices.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.
