Hours 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM Primarily responsible for performing routine clerical work related to scheduling appointments for clinic patients in accordance with established standards and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES : Phone volume is high, all calls are answered with a live person Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills Excellent attention to detail High School Diploma or GED Equivalent 2 yrs experience as a receptionist in a physician's office 2 yrs experience using a billing management software system Experience handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment More about the role High patient contact We answer every phone call Our patients are here every day - we need an extroverted type of person You must be a multi-tasker We are Patient-centric - very high contact - need a very friendly person who can multi-task need someone who can improvise when needed.
when it gets really busy, we need someone who can make their way through it patients are there daily 6-8 hours - (4 to 12 weeks of treatment) treat patients with kindness and empathy we are helping them get financial assistance and Cobra payments We walk them through the process This is a very busy position we have 3 front desk people - (every 3 days we cross-train in the business office) we like to teach people on how their job affects people down the line Scheduling, FMLA, Getting people free drugs, working with the TPA, we work with executives at hospitals REQUIREMENTS : Schedule patient appointments Must be very good at multitasking Answers, screens, and directs telephone traffic in a timely, professional manner Greets all incoming patients, caregivers, and other guests Ensures waiting room environment is clean and comfortable for guests Monitors patient wait times in the waiting room Notifies Clinical Manager of patients' arriving without a scheduled appointment Assists patient / caregiver with registration forms as needed Collects co-pays, if applicable 2-3 Years Experience Excellent benefits - vacation - 2 weeks vacation, six sick days, 401k eligible after six months, profit sharing, medical insurance - United Healthcare, HSA, Low / Medium deductibles, the company pays 85% of healthcare.
$25k life insurance, 7 holidays, birthday off, a personal day. We are open every day of the year. we have weekend staff and you can volunteer to work on a holiday.
you get overtime to work on a holiday and still get the free day off instead. There is a bonus program. The bonus is figured through a formula.
if you meet the monthly goal, you get a bonus paid monthly. Front Desk is $250 and that is an incentive to collect co-pays.
