Duties:
- Manage the estimating process from start to finish on multiple concurrent exercises.
- Assemble conceptual budgets and various updates during design progression.
- Review bid documents to learn the job, invite the needed trades, identify constructability issues, and find conflicting or missing information that needs to be answered or qualified.
- Know and verify all bid submission requirements are completed on time.
- Collaborate with Operations to develop the project schedule, staffing, and logistic needs.
- Generate project interest, confirm bid coverage, and exchange critical information by interacting and developing relationships with the subcontractor community.
- Develop scope checklists, level bids, and coordinate bid revisions with the subcontractors.
- Build estimates capturing all needed costs and assemble final deliverables.
- Participate in owner review meetings and presentations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Three or more years of commercial construction estimating experience.
- Knowledge of all types of bid processes, contracts, and negotiations.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, or any other Take-off software.
