**Job Overview:**

We are actively seeking a compassionate and skilled trauma therapist to join our team, specializing in Partner Betrayal Trauma. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the complex emotional and psychological challenges faced by individuals who have experienced betrayal from a romantic partner.

**Responsibilities:**

- Conduct intake and provide client assessment: Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand the client's history, trauma experiences, and current emotional state

- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic approaches for trauma recovery

- Provide trauma-focused therapy, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and mindfulness-based interventions

- Offer support and intervention for clients experiencing acute distress or crisis situations related to their trauma

- Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients

- Maintain accurate and confidential records

- Facilitate group therapy sessions

- Intervene in crisis situations effectively

- Manage cases and provide appropriate case management services

**Experience:**

The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

- Licensed Michigan Mental Health Counselor (LARA) (Masters level minimum)

- Has acquired or is willing to become a Clinical Partner Specialist (CCPS) or a Certified Partner and Trauma Therrapist (CPTT).

- Ability to maintain electronic mental progress notes accurately

- Proficient in conducting support group therapy sessions

- Skilled in crisis intervention strategies

- Background in clinical counseling practices
